The easiest way to get around Sydney is using its extensive public transport services including trains, busses and ferries; or if you are feeling more adventurous, walking will let you see some of Sydney’s most famous landmarks, as well as some of its best kept secrets.


Getting to HCFC is easy.

For interstate and international visitors, the closest (and only) airport serving HCFC is Sydney Kingsford-Smith International Airport (SYD), located 8 kilometers from HCFC. The airport serves many destinations and is a major gateway to Australia.

Using the train from Sydney Airport:

  • From the arrivals area, simply walk to the International Airport or Domestic Airport Train Stations and take the next train towards Museum Station.
  • Trains operate every 15 minutes over the weekend.  
  • The one-way ticket price for this service $17.40.
  • The journey time to St. James Station takes approximately 15 minutes.
  • Once you arrive at St. James Station, exit onto street level and walk southeast through Hyde Park, until you reach the intersection of College St and William St.
  • Then, walk eastbound along William St for 400 m and the Sydney Boulevard Hotel will be on your left, at the intersection of WIlliam St and Palmer St.
  • The walk should take no more than 15 minutes.

Using the train from within metropolitan Sydney:

  • The closest train station to the hotel is Kings Cross Station, and is a 10 minute walk away.
  • Exit Kings Cross Station onto Victoria St and head south, then west through Brougham Ln, south down McElhome St and finally westward along William St until you reach the hotel on your right.

Taking a taxi or Uber from Sydney Airport:

  • If you are travelling into Sydney Airport with a party, it may be more cost-effective to use taxis or an Uber rideshare
  • Estimated taxi fare from Sydney Airport to HCFC: $55.
  • Estimated uberX fare from Sydney Airport to HCFC (without surge pricing): $35.

Car Parking

  • If you wish to drive to HCFC and park your vehicle over the weekend, the hotel offers discount rates for hotel guests.
